Tech POD’s Newsletter
September 2020 - Present
I am in charge of supervising a team of two newsletter editors in charge of copywriting the events and educating Tech Pod’s active subscriber base! I also had worked on the newsletters before this role as Lead! One of the newsletter’s function is to engage the audience who open the newsletters and make sure that our target audience, college and MBA students are actively applying to FAANG internships and other tech companies in non technical roles! The road map I set for Tech Pod’s newsletter is to actively engage our audience and motivate college students to attend the events we hold to sharpen their networking skills with our affiliates and sponsors!

Business Transfer Network’s Official Website Using SquareSpace
September 2020 - Present
As Director of Business Operations, I discovered that the first transfer student run organization at Berkeley needed a website as a resource for transfer students. I managed a team of three creative individuals and taught them to maneuver across Squarespace and help build out BTN’s website. With this website, students who are interested in joining the club can know about the various sponsors that help transfer students find job opportunities. Some key features of the website is to promote a community within transfer students at Berkeley and showcase the various events we have had to educate our transfers on how to stand out in interviews and do well in the job search!

Another club project for Business Transfer Network is to send out weekly newsletters using the Substack platform. These weekly newsletters mission is to inform the Berkeley transfer members about various opportunities and events Business Transfer Network is holding to foster a sense of community. Cross functionally working with the Director of Media and Vice President of Marketing, I was adding visual fliers that would attract many transfer members to join our events where we had various career professionals speak about their role and the job opportunities they have to offer!

Climate Change Website, Environmental Science project
June 2018 - Present
Creating a more sustainable world has always been of great importance to me. Especially climate change. Not a lot of people are knowledgeable about the idea that climate change is real and it is impacting public health in the public sector especially in California. I asked myself what is one way to effectively reach out to people and help build the message that climate change is a serious problem. Then came the idea that I realized is perfect for my project: a climate change website. So I set out to begin my journey in creating a user friendly website highlighting the importance of climate change and how around the world, everyone is facing the consequences of climate change. After researching solutions, I saw that there is some action being taken and its led to so many great things for the environment. It fits with who I am regarding my views on making the world more sustainable than before because it is drastically impacting our world today.

Climate Change Integrated Assessment Model, Climate Change Economics @ UC Berkeley
September 2020 - December 2020
In my climate change economics course I took @ UC Berkeley, I created an integrated assessment model using Excel that allowed me to see how we can assess the economic costs of climate change such as the social cost of carbon and total world abatement costs in a 300 year timeframe. By using Excel Macros and Solver, I was able to decipher how much impact an extra ton of CO2 emissions in the air would make a difference! Take a look at Portfolio to see the fully functioning integrated assessment model!
